| Technical Description |
| After receiving the Storm Bulletin (Observed storm, Remote Storm, Nearby Storm, Emergency Storm, Landing storm) from Department of Hydro- Meteorology, Standing Office of CCFSC will have actions as follows:
Observed Storm / Remote Storm:
Warning from CCFSC: Public Letter to the Committee of Flood and Storm Control (CFSC) of involved Ministries (Fishing, Transportation, Construction) and effected Provinces
Content:
- To provice the Storm information to offshore fishing boats in the sea and to warn for fishermen for active response.
- Follow the storm history and prepare alternatives to respond to any situation
Actions:
- Storm information and Public Letter will be updated and transmited by media (Viet Nam Television, Voice of Viet Nam, Local Television and Voice).
- CFSC of Ministries and effected provinces will watched closely strom information.
Nearby Storm:
Warning from CCFSC: Public Letter to the Committee of Flood and Storm Control (CFSC) of involved Ministries (Fishing, Transportation, Construction) and effected Provinces
Content:
- Prevent fishing boats from going to the sea; to warn the fishing boats in the sea to find shelters or escape storm-effected areas.
- Ensure the safety of peoples in low land, estuary, coastal area and aquaculture area.
- Execute measures for safety of dike system, structures under construction.
- Storm information and Public Letter will be updated and transmited by media (Viet Nam Television, Voice of Viet Nam, Local Television and Voice).
- CFSC of Ministries and effected provinces will watched closely strom information.
Actions:
- Provincial CFSC will inform the fishing boats in the sea that come back or find shelter or escape from storm-effected area; do not determinelly permit fishermen in the boat; arrange the plans to respond to the storm.
- Evacuate the hourseholds in high risk of landslide, flashflood.
- Storm information and Public Letter will be updated and transmited by media (Viet Nam Television, Voice of Viet Nam, Central and Local Daily Papers).
- CFSC of effected provinces will watched closely storm information.

Warning from CCFSC: Public Letter to the Committee of Flood and Storm Control of Ministries and effected Provinces
Government Guidences: Public Letter to Central Committee of Flood and Storm Control (CCFSC), People’s Committee of effected provinces.
Content
Warning from CCFSC: As content of Public Letter for Nearby Storm.
Governemt Guidence: Giving concrete guidance to Central Committee of Flood and Storm Control, People’s Committee of effected provinces to respond the storm.
Actions:
Central Action:
- Organize the meeting including all members of CCFSC (Ministries), make the plan and assign the mission for each Ministry for storm response.
- Organize the groups to meet storm and guidence directly.
Provincial Action:
- Execute the content of Public letter of CCFSC and Government.
Landing storm
- CCFSC have watched closely storm history, updated the information from provincial report in order to respond all situation quickly and acurately.
- CFSC of effected Provinces must report quickly on the effected areas, updated data of damage to CCFSC. |
