| Technical Description |
| An integration of all data collected including seismological, geological, geochemical, geodetic and observational to determine the state of activity at individual volanic centres. See the following website for an example of the method used to determine alert levels at Eastern Caribbean volcanoes http://www.uwiseismic.com/kejalert.html
Seismological data have been collected over the past 50 years. This, along with additional historical (pre-instrumental) data have allowed the determination of areas at highest risk from future earthquake activity. Quantitative estimates of the level of seismic hazard in the eastern Caribbean can be found http://www.uwiseismic.com/seishaz.html |
| Publications |
| See http://www.uwiseismic.com/seisbib.html for a listing of publications since 1995. |
| Conditions that Trigger The Warning |
| The specific conditions will vary slightly depending on the volcanic centre and island involved. However, a good example of the conditions used to trigger a warning can be found at http://www.uwiseismic.com/kejalert.html |
